The aim of the project is to produce a research paper into effective training strategies for Police Officers for training relating to family and domestic violence situations.

The purpose of this project is to inform future Police training to help ensure Police Officers effectively interpret and respond to family and domestic violence situations. Our research will be used to develop innovative training workshops that will influence Police practices by promoting long-term behavioural change and effective frontline processes.
