Aim: Following our Semester 1 project, WAJA is re-partnering with Mental Health Matters 2 on another project! Together, we aim to use our findings to create an accessible guide for individuals, their families and carers to obtain, and enforce the compliance of, effective Treatment, Support and Discharge Plans. We will also develop a guide aimed at clinicians to improve understanding of their statutory requirements under the Mental Health Act 2014 (WA) (the Act).
Purpose: To empower individuals, families and carers to understand their legal options and generate greater sector accountability for non-compliance of TSD Plans under the Act.
